INS and diabetes mellitus: Patients’ adherence to insulin therapy was independently predicted by the type of DM, where patients with type 2 DM were about 15 times more likely to adhere compared to type 1 DM patients (aOR = 14.82 C.I 1.34–163.50, p-value = 0.028), holding the age, marital status, employment status, concomitant use of oral anti-diabetes, presence of co245 morbidities and whether patients regularly visited the clinic constant (Table 4).
