NQO1 and lung carcinoma: It was found that H. cordata and 2-undecanoate could effectively activate the Nrf2-HO-1/NQO-1 signaling pathway and inhibit the production of intracellular ROS, thus attenuating DNA damage and inflammation induced by Benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P) stimulation and the results indicated that H. cordata and its bioactive compounds also have inhibitory effects on lung tumors, and H. cordata is a chemopreventive lung cancer of lung cancer chemoprevention, and its anti-tumor mechanism of action is shown in Figure 10 below.
