Recently, an end-to-end deep-learning model integrating patch-based classification and majority voting was developed on a large cohort to predict the neuropathologist-level integrated classification of adult-type diffuse gliomas [17], and F1 scores for IDH-mutant astrocytoma, oligodendroglioma with IDH mutation and 1p/19q co-deletion, and IDH-wildtype glioblastomas were 0.81–0.87, 0.77–0.88, and 0.93–0.97, respectively. This evidence concerns the gene IDH1 and astrocytoma (excluding glioblastoma).
