CD8A and neoplasm: Notably, analysis of T cell differences between the high and low R-loop score groups revealed a remarkable increase in CD8+ exhausted T cells in the high R-loop score group, accompanied by a decrease in CD4+ naive T cells, CD4+ Th1-like cells, and NK cells, suggesting that high R-loop scores contributed to a suppressive immune microenvironment to promote tumor immune evasion (Figures 3E, F).
