The protective impact of HT on heart function, encompassing the reduction of myocardial infarct size, oxidative stress, and cardiomyocyte apoptosis, underscores its significance through (PI3K)/protein kinase B (Akt) pathway in myocardial I/R damage and that the Notch pathway has a positive interaction with (PI3K)/protein kinase B (Akt) signaling pathway in the protective effect of HT in MI suggests that two signaling pathways play roles in the protective effect of HT. This evidence concerns the gene AKT1 and myocardial infarction.
