This observation aligns with a study [20] analyzing the TCGA colorectal cancer dataset, which reported a notable increase in COL11A1 mRNA expression across various cancer subtypes, including colon adenocarcinoma, colon mucinous adenocarcinoma, rectal adenocarcinoma, and cecal adenocarcinoma, when compared to normal colon tissues. Here, COL11A1 is linked to colon mucinous adenocarcinoma.
