A significant body of evidence [14], including data from the TCGA database, has documented the upregulation of COL11A1 in a range of human malignancies, such as adrenal cortical carcinoma, urothelial bladder carcinoma, invasive breast cancer, cervical squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, and colon adenocarcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene COL11A1 and bladder transitional cell carcinoma.
