Notably, a phase II neoadjuvant PCa trial (NCT02923180) demonstrated that CD8 T cell density in prostatectomy samples was significantly higher in enoblituzumab-treated patients compared with age-matched and stage-matched untreated prostatectomy controls [53], suggesting that targeting B7-H3 could improve the survival by accelerating the infiltration of CD8+ T cells to enhance the antitumor response. This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and posterior cortical atrophy.
