Our meta-analysis showed that a low expression of p27 could predispose tumors to the right half colon (left vs. right; n = 9, OR = 0.61, 95%CI = 0.46–0.82, Z = 3.32, p = 0.001) (Supplementary Figure S3A) and inhibit tumor differentiation (high, medium vs. low; n = 12, OR = 0.56, 95%CI = 0.41–0.77, Z = 3.62, p = 0.000) (Supplementary Figure S3B).
