Studies have shown that TYP has numerous pharmacological effects, including antioxidant activity,[7, 8] anti‐inflammatory effects,[9] neuroprotective effects,[10] anti‐myocardial ischemia effects,[11] therapeutic effects on acute kidney injury,[7] hepatoprotective effect on non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease,[12] and preventive effects against leukemia.[13] Although TYP has a wide range of pharmacological activities, the mechanism of TYP has not been determined, which has hindered further application. The gene discussed is DUSP4; the disease is acute kidney injury.
