KEGG enrichment analysis confirmed that C. sinensis infection significantly affected pathways including glycerophospholipid metabolism, carbohydrate digestion and absorption, mineral absorption, AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications, diabetic cardiomyopathy, parathyroid hormone synthesis, secretion and action, galactose metabolism, insulin secretion, glycine, serine and threonine metabolism, and HIF-1 signaling pathway. Here, INS is linked to diabetic cardiomyopathy.
