Seven proteins, TFF3, LCN2, CEACAM5, TFF1, SELE, RETN, and AHCY were found to be upregulated in other databases and also in our UK Biobank where TFF3 and LCN2 were found to be the most significant proteins and were highly expressed in colorectal cancer. The gene discussed is CEACAM5; the disease is colorectal cancer.
