In order to detect the specificity of AAV virus targeting KLF15, we tested the genes regulating Purkinje cell development Stxbp2 and Tanc1, ataxia related genes Ifrd1, Sptbn2, and Elovl5, genes regulating granule cell development Gap43 and Stmn2 [38], as well as other KLF family genes KLF7 and KLF13 that can regulate nerve cells. This evidence concerns the gene GAP43 and cerebellar ataxia.
