Bal et al. found that in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), mutations in super enhancers associated with oncogenes BCL6, BCL2, and CXCR4 can hinder the interaction between inhibitory protein transcription (such as BLIMP1 for BCL6 and steroid receptors) and their respective target genes. This evidence concerns the gene BCL6 and diffuse large B-cell lymphoma.
