FN1 and infection: We observed 5-fold increased migration and recruitment of neutrophils to the Fn infection site from 2 hpi (11.3 ± 4.9 neutrophils), compared to Pg W83 (2.1 ± 2.3 neutrophils, p ≤ 0.0001) and PBS (control) (2.1 ± 1.3 neutrophils, p ≤ 0.0001) that remained up to 10 hpi (S5A and S5B Fig).
