Generally, there was a good correlation between IP-10 and IFN-γ levels measured in serum (rs = -0.24, p = 0.0005), QFT TB1 (rs = 0.58, p<0.0001) and QFT TB2 (rs = 0.57, p<0.0001) cultures (Fig 5) and this pattern was similar among the groups of healthy controls, latently infected individuals, patients with active TB, and M. tb uninfected subjects with nonmycobacterial pneumonia.
