The latest version of European urology association and its associates (EAU‐EANM‐ESTRO‐ESUR‐ISUP‐SIOG) guideline on prostate cancer indicates that biopsy‐naïve clinically suspicious men, based on abnormal digital rectal examination (DRE) or elevated prostate‐specific antigen (PSA), should undergo magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) before prostate biopsy. This evidence concerns the gene KLK3 and prostate carcinoma.
