Huang et al. (2019)’s study demonstrated that treatment with luteolin (10 and 30 μM) for 24 h inhibited the invasion and stimulate cell cycle arrest of breast cancer cell lines. This was achieved by blocking the NF-κB pathway, which in turn decreased the expression levels of c-Myc and human telomerase reverse transcriptase (hTERT) (Huang et al., 2019). This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and breast cancer.
