Preclinical studies have demonstrated that etomoxir (a CPT1 inhibitor) can re-sensitize multiple cancers, including breast cancer, to conventional chemotherapy and radiotherapy (Han et al., 2019; Shim et al., 2022; Chen et al., 2023; Tan et al., 2018; Pucer et al., 2013). This evidence concerns the gene CPT2 and breast carcinoma.
