Reduction in hyperlipidemia‐induced cardiac damage were observed after luteolin treatment via suppression of lipid deposition (LOX‐1 and CD36) and cardiac fibrosis (MMP2, MMP9, Collagen I, Collagen III, and TGF‐β) (Dong et al. 2023). Here, TGFB1 is linked to hyperlipidemia.
