A diagnosis of glomerulonephritis as the etiology of chronic renal failure, a history of never smoking, a serum ALB concentration > 4.216 g/dl, an effective Qb greater than 423.5 ml/min, an IDWG greater than 4.925%, hemodiafiltration as treatment, urea < 103.78 mg/dl, and fasting glucose < 109.27 mg/dl were identified as statistically significant protective factors (Table 2). Here, ALB is linked to chronic kidney disease.
