Additionally, we tested two PY-NLSs, HNRNP A1 and UL79, and found that HNRNP A1 conferred CPSF6-358 nuclear localization and supported HIV-1 infection similarly as CPSF6-FL, while UL79 failed to rescue both CPSF6-358 nuclear localization and HIV-1 infection (Table 1). This evidence concerns the gene CPSF6 and HIV-1 infection.
