We examined caspase 1 (CASP1, Fig. 6B), caspase 8 (CASP8, Fig. 6C), TRAIL (TNFSF10, Fig. 6D), BH3 interacting domain death agonist (BID, Fig. 6E), BCL2 associated X (BAX, Fig 6F) and apoptotic peptidase activating factor 1 (Fig. 6G); only one, BID, was found to be differentially expressed between our two groups of neutrophils, being less abundant in MS neutrophils. The gene discussed is CASP1; the disease is myeloid sarcoma.
