We propose that a Porphyromonas gingivalis/neutrophil/mast cell axis may be exist in pancreatic cancer, along with a Fungus/IL-33/mast cell axis, a Fungus/mast cell/Th2 axis, and the crosstalk axis involving IL-33, eosinophils, and mast cells. The gene discussed is IL33; the disease is familial pancreatic carcinoma.
