The efficacy of neutralizing monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 can be categorized into two main groups based on their ability to block the binding of the S proteins to ACE2.18 There are currently seven authorized or approved mAbs, including LY-CoV555, LY-CoV016, REGN10987, REGN10933, COV2-2130, COV2-2196, and CT-P59, that function by blocking the binding of the S protein to ACE2.
