These included seven mutations in four zDHHCs: S306F mutation in zDHHC2 [hepatocellular carcinoma (29)], M356I mutation in zDHHC2 and N44D mutation in zDHHC7 [colorectal cancer (29, 30)], P104S mutation in zDHHC4 [breast cancer (30)], and three mutations in zDHHC14: C181Y and A373Y [prostate cancer (31)] as well as L215S [testicular germ cell tumor (31)]. The gene discussed is ZDHHC4; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
