AFP and neoplasm: Those beyond the expanded Malatya criteria showed higher pre-transplant AFP level (p < 0.001), higher MTD (p < 0.001), higher number of tumor nodules (p < 0.001), higher Ki-67 index (p = 0.010), lower OS (p = 0.006), lower DFS (p = 0.001), higher PVTT (p = 0.002), higher poor differentiation (p = 0.021), higher microvascular and macrovascular invasion (p < 0.001), higher mortality (p = 0.002), and higher recurrence (p = 0.001).
