Lipid-lowering agents such as fish oil and fibrates have been shown to improve psoriasis [8], and recently, PCSK9 inhibitors (small interfering RNA that targets proprotein convertase subtilisin/kexin type 9) using gene silencing technologies have demonstrated efficacy in treating hyperlipidemia and psoriasis [25,51]. Here, PCSK9 is linked to hyperlipidemia.
