AMH and disorder of sexual differentiation: Rey et al. [14] showed that AMH was low in children with disorders/differences in sex development (DSD) caused by abnormal testicular determination (pure or partial gonadal dysgenesis), but was normal or elevated in patients with impaired T secretion; in addition, both groups demonstrated low serum T. In the present study, 25.5% of boys from the UDT group exhibited AMH levels below the lower reference limit; however, only 0.04% were found to have low AMH and low Inh B levels, suggesting Sertoli cell dysfunction.
