More than a decade ago, The Cancer Genome Atlas [9] classified endometrial cancer into four genomic categories: POLE ultramutated (POLEmut), microsatellite instability hypermutated or mismatch repair deficient (MSI-H or MMRd), low somatic copy number alteration or non-specific molecular profiles (CNL or NSMP), and high somatic copy number alteration or p53 abnormal (CNH or p53abn). The gene discussed is TP53; the disease is endometrial cancer.
