Previous publications by our group found that GLS2 could be located at the nucleus of GBM cells [37], as well as linking GLS2 function with oxidative stress-handling [58] and microRNA regulation [59], also noted previously in HCC by other groups [38], while also reporting modulation of cell signalling pathways by GLS2 in HCC and GBM [36,57]. Here, GLS2 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
