The NF-κB-specific luciferase reporter assay indicated that the IR-induced transcriptional activation of NF-κB was significantly reduced by treatment of human lung adenocarcinoma cell line (A549) and NCI-H1299 cells (NSCLC cell lines) with 2 Gy of IR plus danshensu (50 μM), selegiline (2 μM), or MAO-B siRNA. This evidence concerns the gene NFKB1 and lung adenocarcinoma.
