It has been reported in that USP15 is highly expressed in gastric cancer, promoting malignant progression by activating the Wnt/β-catenin pathway [8], however, other studies have found that USP15 can inhibit the NF-κB pathway by deubiquitinating IκB-α, thereby inhibiting the proliferation and invasion of gastric cancer [11]. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is gastric cancer.
