SLC35A2 and infection: Interestingly, for both NDV and MuV infections, but not SeV, more infected cells were observed in SLC35A2 KO cells than in double KO cells (Fig 4B and 4C), suggesting that SLC35A2 and SLC35A1 have non-redundant functions during paramyxovirus infection and that SLC35A2 differentially impacts infection with different paramyxoviruses.
