In addition, FAM20C is associated with the infiltration levels of CD4+ T cells, macrophages, neutrophils, and dendritic cells in the tumor microenvironment of bladder urothelial carcinoma, lower-grade glioma, and stomach adenocarcinoma, indicating that FAM20C may affect the degree of immune infiltration and the activation of different immune cells, thus influencing cancer progression through tumor microenvironment.33 Here, FAM20C is linked to gastric adenocarcinoma.
