Paradoxically, although CDK4/6 inhibition (CDK4/6i) have cytostatic effects, TNBC and ovarian cancer cells treated with doxorubicin, paclitaxel, or carboplatin were resistant to cytotoxic effects and the associated cell death in response to CDK4/6 inhibition43–45.
