Nevertheless, our own findings in paired intracranial versus lumbar CSF from patients with IDH-mutant gliomas corroborate these findings, demonstrating significantly higher intracranial D-2-HG (P = .0001, Figure 2A), unlike in IDH-wild-type controls (P = .1289, Figure 2B) (C. Riviere-Cazaux, T. Burns, personal communication, November 5, 2024). The gene discussed is IDH2; the disease is central nervous system cancer.
