Additionally, 11 (31%) of the metastatic tumors did not have significant expression of PD‐L1 on macrophages or on tumor cells, seven of those additionally had low CD3+PD‐1+ lymphocyte densities, and four lacked also CD8+ lymphocytes suggesting poor response for possible PD‐1 blockade therapy.
