Examining the transition from healthy-like leukemic hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) to other abnormal AML progenitor cells (41), we discovered that differentially activated TFs exhibited enrichment in leukemia and cancer-related signatures (Supplementary Figure S8D) and are involved in hematopoiesis and AML-linked TFs, including GATA2 and SPI1 (56–58). This evidence concerns the gene SPI1 and acute myeloid leukemia.
