However, we found that the change of TINAGL1 was higher with HCV infection (3- to 5-fold) than with CCl4 treatment (1.5- to 2-fold), hinting that TINAGL1 plays a greater role in HCV-infected patients with liver fibrosis than in patients with fibrosis caused by other factors.
