A pooled analysis of 11 studies revealed that higher ALDH1A2 expression was associated with better prognosis (HR=0.43, 95% CI=0.28-0.67, P<0.001; Figure 3B), indicating that ALDH1A2 may play a tumor-suppressive role in prostate cancer progression. The gene discussed is ALDH1A2; the disease is prostate carcinoma.
