Since ALKBH5 has been reported to act as an eraser of m6A, the most common modification found in eukaryotic RNAs, and to affect the stability of m6A-modified transcripts [36,37], we sought to identify its downstream effectors mediated by the PRMT5 inhibitor GSK3326595 in CRC cells using MeRIP (m6A) sequencing and RIP sequencing (Fig. 5A).
