There is a significant association with deranged TLC (p<0.001), decreased albumin (p<0.004), deranged LDH (p<0.001), deranged serum ferritin (p=0.001), and IL-6 (p=0.03) with higher morality. Other markers, such as high C-reactive protein (CRP), procalcitonin, D-dimer, lymphopenia, and thrombocytopenia, were not significantly associated with high mortality rates.
