Based on the 2012 Systemic Lupus Erythematosus International Collaborating Clinics (SLICC) criteria, the patient met both clinical (anemia and leukopenia) and immunological (positive ANA, dsDNA, low complement, and positive direct Coombs test) criteria, supporting the diagnosis of SLE. This evidence concerns the gene BTG3 and systemic lupus erythematosus.
