APOA2 and familial hypercholesterolemia: The qRT-PCR results confirmed that treatment with Exo/ASO-TNF or Exo/2DG resulted in the up-regulation of Apolipoprotein a2 (Apoa2, whose defects may result in hypercholesterolemia [25]), NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase subunit a6 (Ndufa6, associated with mitochondrial respiratory chain) and Cytochrome C oxidase subunit 6a1 (Cox6a1, associated with mitochondrial respiratory chain) in the liver (Fig. S5C).
