GRC‐2, a prostratin analog derived from Euphorbia grandicornis, has been demonstrated to impede the proliferation of human non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) (A549) cells through the hyperactivation of the extracellular signal‐regulated kinases (ERK) as well as the activation and nuclear translocation of protein kinase C (PKC) delta and delta‐like protein kinase (PKD). This evidence concerns the gene PRKD1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
