Compared to SOT, LAA was associated with a significantly increased LDL level by 0.22 mmol/L (MD, 0.22; 95% CI, 0.06 to 0.38; P = 0.008; I2 = 75%; moderate QoE), lower CD4+ cell rise by 21.6 cells/mm3 (MD, −21.6; 95% CI, −37.97 to −5.24; P = 0.01; I2 = 36%; high QoE) and increased risk of hypertension by 75% (4.3% versus 2.5%; RR, 1.75; 95% CI, 1.07 to 2.87; P = 0.03; I2 = 0%; high QoE) (Table S3 and Figures S7–S9). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and hypertensive disorder.
