Pathway annotation analysis of the “core tumor-specific” CUGs identified “cell cycle/division,” “glycolysis,” “p53,” and “progesterone-mediated oocyte maturation” (consisting of CCNB1, CDK1, HSP90AA1, MAD2L1, CCNB2, BUB1, CCNA2, CDK, and CDC25B genes) among pathways that are low in normal pancreas but elevated in PDAC (Figure 3D).
