Clinical data have shown that Mmp2 is upregulated and positively correlated with the expression of the long lncRNA P73 antisense RNA 1T (TP73-AS1) in ovarian cancer tissues, and knockdown of Mmp2 attenuates the effects of TP73-AS1 overexpression on cell invasion and migration [94]. This evidence concerns the gene TP73 and ovarian carcinoma.
