More importantly, the RFP-to-EGFP ratios in pCMV-THRA-RFP-EGFP splicing detector-transfected samples appeared to reflect the endogenous ratio of THRA1 to THRA2 in naïve samples, with COS1 cells showing a slight predominance of THRA1/RFP (Figure 3e) and N2A neuroblastoma cells showing a predominance of THRA2/EGFP (Figure 3f), as previously measured by fluorescence signals (Figure 3c).
