Regarding cardiac function, Wu et al. [10] showed that ADAMTS-7 levels were positively correlated with markers of cardiac dysfunction after acute myocardial infarction, and that ADAMTS-7 serum levels were lower in patients with left ventricular reverse remodelling (LVRR) compared to those without LVRR [11]. This evidence concerns the gene ADAMTS7 and acute myocardial infarction.
